This is a truly beautiful neighbourhood within the city of St. John's. I will try to highlight some photos I took in the last few years. Had over a thousand great photos from all seasons. I have seen ice, snow, perfect reflections, seals, comorants, ducks, eagles, otters and much more. Please visit this page back frequently for updates.
On the left, you can see a comarant just passing by a perfect calm winter day by the stage houses. The yellow building above is the Plantation Centre where artists and crafts people showcase their work in their offices. In the summer, we often see concerts and events organized by the City of St. John's held inside the atrium and free for all to enjoy.
The above picture captured the iceberg at sunrise by the entrance to Quidi Vidi gut during the month of April. This iceberg drew a huge crowd everyday as it was grounded close to the city.
The left picture shows a group of kayakers enjoying their New Year Day tradition taking the kayaks out ringing in the new year in QuidiVidi Village wates.
